First Aid is one of those things that you really want to get right the first time, but it is difficult to remember what to do in certain situations. For example, what is the first step for treating a burn? Not only that, CPR steps is also difficult to remember, so it would be handy to have something to remind us.
This is exactly what the Interactive Talking First Aid Guide is designed to do. All you need to do is open it up and push the proper button for the 8 first aid categories. You will have access to 30 recordings for whatever situation you need.
If following the advice of the First Aid Guide is not enough to help your situation, the Guide will also ask interactive questions that you can respond to with yes or no. A “calm, clear voice” responds to the answers.
The Talking First Aid Guide looks somewhat large in the photo, but it fits compactly in a handbag or purse. The instructions are in English and Spanish, and the device runs on 4 included AA batteries.
It looks like the Talking First Aid Guide would be good to have around in case of an emergency, but I’m a little skeptical if I would be rational enough to use it in an actual crisis. Still, if it could help save a life, than it is worth more than its $39.95 pricetag.
